Compass Light is so excited to welcome clients to our fully renovated upscale medical spa in the heart of Cohasset Village, right on the corner of South Main Street and Stagecoach Way. Our coastal inspired space is truly a spa retreat where our clients can come to relax, rejuvenate, and have the opportunity to provide themselves with a necessary dose of self-love!


Compass Light offers a large and inviting lounge area for our clients to relax and wait for an array of available treatments in one of our three private treatment rooms or to gather with a group of friends to have a scheduled spa day to celebrate any special occasion. If you're interested in hosting an event, please reach out! Whether it's a "Book & Botox" evening, getting ready for prom or planning that next school event - we'd love to share our beautiful space with you.

Alysia O’Brien, NP

Founder, owner, and Medical director

Alysia obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2010. She has spent the majority of her career caring for acutely and critically injured children after sustaining various burn injuries as well as plastic surgical management of burn survivors at Shriners Hospital for Children Boston. This wealth of experience has allowed Alysia to become an expert in the anatomy of the skin along with its critical supportive structures and healing properties, as well as mitigation strategies to avoid long term scarring.


While at Shriners, Alysia has collaboratively managed thousands of patients alongside nationally recognized MGH and Shriners Burn and Plastic Surgeons for nearly 18 years, gaining invaluable experience. In addition to working closely with highly skilled attending surgeons, Alysia has also had the opportunity to partner with several Harvard Plastic Surgery Residents and Fellows as they rotated through Shriners for their specialized training.

    To enhance her skills in medical aesthetics, Alysia pursued additional training and certifications through Aesthetic Mentor. This ensures that every patient at Compass Light is in the competent and skilled hands of a practitioner with a deep understanding of both clinical and aesthetic aspects.


    Beyond Alysia's professional career, she is the proud mother to three young children whom she and her supportive husband, Danny, are raising on the South Shore. Outside of Compass Light, you'll likely find her and her family at the beach or at a rink or field cheering on their three favorite athletes; Colin, Emily and Rinnie.

Christina Hauck

Licensed Master Esthetician & Spa director

Christina is a seasoned licensed esthetician with over 10 years of experience. Prior to receiving her esthetician license from The Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics in 2013, Christina graduated from the University of New Hampshire with her bachelor’s degree in Family Studies.


Christina specializes in customizing skincare plans for her clients with a welcoming and thoughtful approach. She has additional certifications in dermaplaning, Gua Sha Facials and advanced training from HydraFacial. She’s also an expert in waxing, spray tanning, brow shaping as well as eyelash lift and tinting.

    With her degree in Family Studies and her love of connecting with people, Christina has found her true calling as an Esthetician. She values forming trusting relationships with her clients and provides them with a warm, comfortable and safe environment to put their best face forward.


    Beyond her love of being an esthetician, Christina enjoys spending time with her family and the two special boys in her life: her husband, JB, and 1-year-old son, Johnny. You can also find Christina at the beach with a book (in between chasing a toddler) or using her aesthetic eye to decorate her home.

Olivia powers

Licensed Master Esthetician

Olivia is an experienced esthetician going into her 7th year of helping clients love the skin they’re in. With her warm and welcoming approach, clients are able to truly sit back, relax and leave feeling better from the inside out.


Olivia found her calling in her teens after having an inspirational esthetician that always left her feeling confident and hopeful. Wanting to share that experience with others, Olivia became a licensed esthetician after graduating from Trident Technical College Esthetics Program in Charleston, SC in 2017.

    Since that time, Olivia has continued to live out her dream of making meaningful connections with her clients while guiding them through personalized skincare treatments. With her advanced certifications in dermaplanning, hydrafacials, microneedling and ZO product expert - you and your skin will be in competent and caring hands!


    Outside of her fulfilling career, you can find Olivia packing her suitcase to travel the world, being an inspiration for all the latest fashion trends as well as spending time with her family and dog, Tucker.

sophia stearns

Licensed Master Esthetician

Sophia is a talented licensed esthetician with a passion for helping others feel confident in the skin they're in. With her radiant smile and kind, uplifting approach, clients immediately feel welcomed and excited to begin their treatment.


With finding true joy in helping those around her feel their best, most confident selves, Sophia obtained her esthetic certificate from the Spa Tech Institute in 2020. After years of struggling with acne herself, she additionally became a certified acne expert through Face Reality and now specializes in guiding clients on their journey to clear, healthy skin. A few of Sophia's favorite treatments include dermaplaning, Hydrafacials, and perfecting the natural brow.


When Sophia's not in the treatment room, you'll find her doing yoga or pilates, taking scenic walks with her dog, or spending quality time with her sisters, family and friends.
